The CATINDA, Lda project in the Cachoeiras region of the Kwanza Sul province cover an area of 1,112 hectares, 271 ha of which have already been mobilized and cultivated.
Relying on micro sprinkler irrigation technology, the CATINDA, Lda farm is structured in covered greenhouse blocks that allow it to generate 170 tons of diverse products a month and create jobs for over 180 natives. Having supply contracts with several commercial centers, the CATINDA, Lda farm produces vegetables (tomatoes, pepper, cabbage), fruits (lemon, banana, mango, watermelon) among other foods.
