The Companhia de Produção de Cereais de Angola, Lda is located in the region of Cavingirite, 25 km from the Chongoroi county in the province of Benguela.
With an area of 4700 hectares, the agricultural farm PROCEA, Lda specializes in corn production and is equipped with modern tillage and irrigation tools such as 3 irrigation pivots, 2 self-propelled irrigation cannons, tractors and other tillage implements.
Located in an area that in the past has housed refugees from armed conflict, with new agricultural activity, PROCEA, Lda allowed us to create jobs for over 70 families residing in the areas surrounding the project. Currently, we’ve mobilized, cultivated and irrigated roughly 250 hectares with an average yield of 2,5 tons per hectare.
